Do I need a ticket to attend?
Yes, all attendees must have a valid ticket to be allowed within the venue. All tickets will be scanned on entry.
What is the Early Bird discount?
InfBall 2025 is at our largest venue ever, this means that whilst we will be offering the same number of subsidised tickets as previous years, tickets will still be available after the subsidies run out. Early bird discounts are limited in quantity.
Do you cater for allergies/dietary requirements?
Yes, the dinner menu has gluten free, vegan and a non-vegan halal main. Please ensure you disclose any allergies or dietary restrictions in the Dinner Order Form.
Is there a seating plan?
Yes, a seating plan will be in-place for dinner. If you have any seating requests, please complete the Dinner Seating Plan Form.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for the event is strictly formal
Can I buy a ticket for my friend?
Yes, you can purchase multiple tickets at checkout. If you are purchasing a Dining & Ceilidh ticket for your friend, make sure that you forward them the Dinner Order Form to complete.
I am not an Informatics student, can I still attend?
Yes, the event is open to all. Non-students can also purchase tickets however, we can only contact students via their University of Edinburgh email address. If you do not have a UoE email address, you must contact us at infball@comp-soc.com after purchasing your ticket to receive it.
Can I bring my own alcohol/food?
No, the event is fully catered. Dining & Ceilidh ticket holders will receive 1/2 bottle of wine (or 3 soft drinks), a welcome glass of fizz and a 3-course meal. All ticket holders have access to the Dynamic Earth bar.
Can I refund or resell my ticket?
Early Bird/Advance Dining & Ceilidh (£74) are non-refundable. Regular Dining & Ceilidh (£95) and Ceilidh Only (£24) are refundable before March 1st 2025. Please email us at infball@comp-soc.com to process a refund. All tickets can be resold as long as the ticket is resold for less than or equal to the original price. Please ensure the new ticket holder completes the Dinner Order Form.
Is parking available?
Yes. Free overnight parking in the Dynamic Earth underground car park is included with all tickets.
